Tampa Bay claims its 1st win over Dallas, taking advantage of mistakes and a huge day by Warrick Dunn. Dunn runs for a franchise-record 210 yards and 2 TDs, including a 70-yarder that gives the Bucs a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter.

The Bucs get an early field goal after the Cowboys muff the opening kickoff, and then they extend their lead to 17-0 when Brian Kelly returns an INT 9 yards for a TD w/ 3:16 left in the 1st quarter. Dallas stages a brief rally in the 2nd half, but trailing 20-7 and driving deep into Bucs' territory, Derrick Brooks forces a fumble by Emmitt Smith. Tampa Bay then drives for a 4-yard TD run by Dunn on the following possession.
