Jason Elam hits a 41-yard FG as time expires to lift Denver to the win after Oakland erased a 14-point deficit in the 4th quarter. Brian Griese, playing with a separated shoulder joint, leads the Broncos on a 54-yard drive in the final 1:01 for the win.

The Raiders had tied the game on Rich Gannon's 22-yard TD pass to Tim Brown w/ 1:06 to play. Gannon completes 30-of-53 for 382 yards, while Griese hits 25-of-37 for 252 yards despite missing part of the 1st half after injuring his shoulder.
