St. Louis wins its 4th straight over San Francisco as Trent Green makes his 1st start, in place of injured Kurt Warner. The Rams provide Green with the perfect help for his 1st start as Marshall Faulk has 144 total yards and 4 TDs.

The 49ers take a 24-17 lead in the 3rd quarter on Jeff Garcia's 2nd TD pass, but Green and Faulk then combine on a pair of TD passes to tie the game and then put St. Louis ahead for good. Green finishes with 310 yards and 2 TDs.
