Green Bay wins it on Antonio Freeman's remarkable catch and run for a 43-yard TD pass from Brett Favre. Minnesota drops its 2nd straight after committing 5 turnovers and falling asleep after Freeman's catch allowing him to run for the winning score.

The Vikings took the lead 4 times and each time saw Green Bay rally to tie it. Minnesota goes ahead 20-13 on Daunte Culpepper's 45-yard TD pass to Robert Smith. But Allen Rossum returns the ensuing kickoff 90 yards setting up Ahman Green's 2-yard TD run.
