Jarrett claims his 1st win on a 'short track' after passing Mark Martin with 30 laps to go as Martin deals with some oil on the track. Jarrett then holds off Martin through a re-start and a dash to the finish. Dick Trickle finishes 3rd and Steve Grissom comes home 4th as many of the usual top finishers fall victim to the usual Bristol contact and traffic.
