Jeff Gordon wins a $-Millions at Darlington.

Gordon holds off the challenging duo of Jeff Burton and Dale Jarrett to become just the 2nd driver to win Winston's $1-million dollar bonus. Gordon had battled handling issues throughout, but strong pit stops kept him in the 'chased' position throughout the final stages, and Gordon managed to fend off challenges from Jarrett first, and then banging with Burton on the final lap.

Bill Elliott finishes 4th after leading the most laps, with Ricky Rudd claiming 5th.
