Jeff Gordon wins with a late surge.

After running just outside the top 5 for much of the race, Gordon starts a late re-start in 3rd and runs down the leader Mark Martin with 8 laps to go. Gordon matches the modern day record with a 4th straight win, and 1st after 11 tries at Michigan.

Bobby Labonte finishes 2nd with Dale Jarrett in 3rd and Martin fading to 4th place. Ernie Irvan finishes 6th behind Jeff Burton after leading for 115 of the 200 laps.
