Dale Jarrett stays ahead of the pack to claim $1-million.

Jarrett manages to hold on to the lead while a pack of pursuers shuffle positions in the final stages but fail to threaten his lead over the final 13 laps. Jeff Gordon trails Jarrett home in 2nd, making a significant addition to his points lead over Mark Martin, who is resigned to picking up a few points when he is caught up in 'the big one', finishing 34th.

Terry Labonte takes 3rd, following by Jimmy Spencer. Mike Skinner finishes 7th after lead the most laps.
