Joe Nemecheck claims his 1st win.

Joe Nemecheck survives a series of late restarts, holding off Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte for his first win on NASCAR top level. Nemecheck leads 75 laps, finding himself in front after a pair of penalties drop leader Dale Jarrett from contention.

Jarrett and Stewart appeared to have the two dominant cars with Jarrett seeming in control until he runs over the air hose trying to hurry back on to the track after getting caught on pit lane when a yellow flag comes out. Jarrett then compounds the problem, earning a 2nd penalty when he comes back in and pits outside of the pit box. The penalties leave Stewart and Labonte as the lone contenders, but Stewart's early strength doesn't show itself again.
