Castroneves claims his 1st win on the Detroit road course pulling away from Max Papis and Oriol Servia after a late restart. Castroneves' Team Penske car was clearly best in the field except for the Ganassi of Juan Pablo Montoya, who started from the pole and led 59 of 60 laps before a drive shaft failure denies him a 2nd straight win.
