Team Penske splits its strategy with de Ferran getting the winning one, converting a short stop for tract position, and then chases down the front runners and takes the win when teammate Helio Castroneves must make a late stop. Roberto Moreno makes a late bid for the win as traffic comes in to play, but finishes 2nd ahead of Christian Fittipaldi.
