Andretti inherits the lead after a last round of pit stops and holds off a push from Dario Franchitti and Roberto Moreno for the win. Andretti appeared destined for 2nd after Juan Pablo Montoya was the dominant car, leading 172 of the 1st 175 laps, but a dislodged valve cap on the last round of pit stops forced a 2nd stop dropping him back to 8th before he pushes forward to finish 6th.
