Juan Pablo Montoya cruises to victory.

Delayed by rain, Montoya wins from the pole, leading 179 of 225 laps to become the 8th driver to follow an Indianapolis 500 victory with triumph on the Milwaukee Mile. Michael Andretti is able to close in the final laps as Montoya deals with traffic, but can only close to with 1.05 seconds.

Montoya's win is Toyota's 1st as an engine manufacturer. Patrick Carpentier finishes 3rd.
