Elliott overtakes a dominant Sterling Marlin late to win a shortened race, as 175 laps were run instead of the planned 200 after a 1-hour red flag for guardrail damage and 2-hours for rain. Kurt Busch also overtakes Marlin, to claim 2nd, while the points-leader Marlin takes 3rd place.
