The Orioles extend the lead to 4-0 with contributions from the bottom of the order as Mark Belanger singles in a run, and then Cuellar follows with another run-scoring single before Buford's double scores Belanger.

While Baltimore strikes for 6 hits and 4 runs off Seaver in 5 innings, Cuellar goes the distance allowing 6 hits and just 1 run resulting from Al Weis' Sac Fly in the 7th.
