National League All-Stars have too much for the American League in a 6-1 win.

Willie McGee and Ozzie Virgil each drive in a pair of runs to lead the NL stars to their 2nd straight in the Mid-Summer Classic. The American League had jumped in front on George Brett's Sac Fly in the 1st.

But the NL comes right back to tie it on Terry Kennedy's RBI single in the 2nd. Steve Garvey's RBI single in the 3rd gives the NL the lead. Virgil's 2-run single in the 5th breaks the game open.
