Cardinals answer the Giants to earn a 5-4 win and break into the win column in the series.

After dropping the 1st 2 games in St. Louis, and seeing San Francisco rally from down 4-1 to tie, the Cardinals go ahead on Eli Marrero's solo HR off Jay Witasick to start the 6th.

The Cardinals had built a lead, going ahead 2-1 in the 3rd by scoring runs on a pair of outs, and then adding runs in the 4th and 5th with solo HRs by Mike Matheny and Jim Edmonds off Russ Ortiz. The Giants score 3 in the bottom of the 5th to tie it before Marrero's shot.
