Giants power by the Angels in the opener for a 4-3 win.

San Francisco hits Jarrod Washburn for 3 HRs and then the bullpen holds off the Angels to preserve the win. Reggie Sanders solo shot caps a 2-HR 2nd inning for the Giants. Troy Glaus answers with a solo HR off Jason Schmidt. But J.T. Snow delivers the big blast with a 2-out, 2-run HR in the 6th for a 4-1 lead.

Glaus adds his 2nd solo shot in the bottom of the 6th, and Adam Kennedy's RBI single closes the Angels within 4-3. However, Felix Hernandez, Tim Worrell and Robb Nen combine for 3 1/3 innings of no-hit relief to seal the victory.
