Angels outlast the Giants 11-10 in a slugfest.

Tim Salmon's 2-run HR in the bottom of the 8th breaks a 9-9 tie and helps the Angels even the series with San Francisco. The Giants had rallied from a 5-run 1st by the Angels, to take a 9-7 lead with a 4-run 5th, highlighted by J.T. Snow's 2-run single, and RBI singles by David Bell and Shawon Dunston.

However, the Angels respond, drawing even on Garrett Anderson's 2-out RBI single in the 6th. Salmon takes Felix Rodriguez deep in the 8th for his 2nd HR of the game. Salmon goes 4-for-4 with 3 runs and 4 RBI. Anderson and Scott Spiezio each drive in a pair of runs.
