Giants answer the Angels to even the series with a 4-3 win.

San Francisco overcomes an early 3-0 deficit with a 3-run 5th inning and then wins it on David Bell's RBI single in the 8th. The Giants take advantage of a passed ball that puts J.T. Snow in scoring position after he leads off the 8th with a single, setting the stage for Bell's tie-breaking hit off Francisco Rodriguez.

The Angels get to Kirk Rueter early with a Sac Fly in the 2nd, and Troy Glaus' 2-run HR in the 3rd. However, San Francisco battles back with Rich Aurilia driving home a run with a single, and then scoring on Benito Santiago's single after a Sac Fly plates the second run of the inning.
