Marlins complete their rally, rallying again for a 9-6 win over the Cubs to advance.

Down 3-1 in the series, Florida evens the series but wastes a 3-0 early lead in Game 7, only to battle back against Kerry Wood and Chicago. The Marlins strike for 3 runs in the 5th, then tack on insurance runs in the 6th and 7th to finish off the Cubs.

Florida appears to be riding momentum from the Game 6 comeback when its scores 3 runs in the 1st against Wood, but the Cubs rally, tying it on Wood's 2-run HR in the 2nd, and taking the lead on a 2-run HR by Moises Alou in the 3rd. However, the Cubs' ride ralls apart in the 5th.

With 2 runners on, Ivan Rodriguez doubles home one run in the 5th, and Luis Castillo scores the tying run on a ground out by Miguel Cabrera before Rodriguez scores the go-ahead run on Derrek Lee's single.

Meanwhile, Josh Beckett tosses 4 innings of 1-hit, 1-run relief on 2 days rest.
