However, Beckett leaves after a 1-out double by Derek Jeter in the 8th, and Dontrelle Willis puts gas on the situation, walking Jason Giambi before allowing a 2-out single to Hideki Matsui that scores the go-ahead run.

New York beats up on the Florida bullpen in the 9th as Aaron Boone adds a solo HR, and Bernie Williams clubs a 3-run shot.
