Philadelphia takes a 2-1 series lead as their offense backs a dominating performance by starter Cliff Lee. Lee handcuffs Los Angeles on 3 hits in 8 innings, while striking out 10.

Meanwhile, Jayson Werth and Shane Victorino go deep. After Ryan Howard triples home Victorino and Chase Utley in the 1st, Werth follows with a HR giving the Phillies a 4-0 lead in their 1st at-bat. Jimmy Rollins doubles in another run in the 2nd, and then scores on Howard's ground out.

Dodger start Hideki Kuroda fails to make it out of the 2nd after allowing 6 hits, 6 runs in 1 1/3 inning.
