After being New York's nemesis in a losing effort of the 2009 World Series, Lee picks up where he left off, striking out 13, while allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings. Lee nurses a 2-0 lead until the 9th after Josh Hamilton connects off Andy Pettitte for a 2-run HR in the 1st.

Texas breaks loose in the 9th, plating 6 runs to break the game open. Hamilton goes 2-of-5 with a double in the 9th that he follows by scoring on Nelson Cruz's single. Benjie Molina follows with an RBI-single and Mitch Moreland's 2-run single scores Cruz and Molina.
