Rangers erupt to push the Yankees to the brink with a 10-3 win.

Benjie Molina's 3-run HR off A.J. Burnett in the 6th follows an intentional walk to David Murphy, and gives Texas a 5-3 lead. Josh Hamilton homers in the 7th as the Rangers extend their lead to 7-3 over New York, and then Hamilton homers again in the 9th as Texas breaks the contest open.

The Yankees had jumped on Texas starter Tommy Hunter early, but Derek Holland steps up with 3 2/3 innings of 1-hit relief. But offense is the story for the Rangers. Vladimir Guerrero goes 4-of-5 with 1 run scored and Molina collects 3 hits and 2 runs to go with his 3 RBI.
