Rangers show signs of life behind Colby Lewis, beating the Giants 4-2.

Lewis goes 7 2/3 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs to help Texas avoid the embarrassment of being swept by one of the weakest lineups in World Series history. Lewis does allow a pair of solo HRs to the type of crap players filling most of San Francisco's lineup, journeyman Cody Ross and non-hit Andres Torres.

For a change, the Rangers' bats aren't shut down by the Giants' pitching. Mitch Moreland's 3-run HR off Jonathan Sanchez in the 2nd sparks Texas, and Josh Hamilton adds a solo HR in the 5th.
