Texas beats Detroit in a contest delayed for 1 hour, 50 minutes in a pair of stoppages. Five relievers pick up C.J. Wilson after he's unable to come back from the delays effectively. They combine for 4 1/3 innings of no-hit relief.

Texas struck against Justin Verlander before the rain with David Murphy tripling home the game's 1st run and hten scoring on Ian Kinsler's single. Nelson Cruz stretches the lead with a solo HR in the 4th. After the 2 5th inning delays, Wilson's effectiveness is gone and the Tigers score twice before the bullpen takes over.
