Nelson Cruz, Rangers slam the Tigers for a 7-3 win in 11 innings.

Cruz delivers a deep fly ball inside the leftfield foul pole off Ryan Perry to win it for Texas, after Cruz ties the game with a solo HR off Max Scherzer in the 7th. The Rangers had left the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th, but Detroit also misses scoring chances with bases loaded in the 2nd and 9th, and a runner on 2nd in the 10th before Neftali Feliz retires Victor Martinez to end the inning.

The Rangers had struck quickly with RBI doubles by Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre in the 1st. But Ryan Rayburn's 3-run HR off Derek Holland in the 3rd puts the Tigers in front until Cruz's 1st blast. Texas gets 8 1/3 innings of scoreless, 4-hit relief from 5 relievers from the 'pen.
