St. Louis rolls Milwaukee en route to the World Series as the Brewers follow up a 4-error embarrassment in Game 5 with 3 more miscues and trails the Cardinals throughout. After an RBI single by Lance Berkman, David Freese gives St. Louis a 4-0 lead with a 3-run HR in the 1st.

The Brewers claw back within a run at 5-4, but then the Cardinals respond with a 4-run 3rd inning sparked by Albert Pujols' solo HR. Freese goes 3-for-4 with 3 runs, 3 RBIs to earn MVP honors.
