Albert Pujols, Cardinals bomb the Rangers 16-7.

Pujols blasts 3 homers as St. Louis takes the 2-1 lead in the series. After Allen Craig greets Matt Harrison with a solo HR in the 1st, the Cardinals jump out to a 5-0 lead after a blown call in the 4th. Texas responds with 3 runs of its, own, but St. Louis answers with 3 more in the 5th, before Texas counters with 3 in the bottom of the 5th.

The Cardinals break away when Pujols sparks a 4-run 6th with a 3-run HR. He adds a 2-run shot in the 7th and then a solo blast in the 9th.
