Washington hangs a series of big innings on St. Louis, keeping the Cardinals from gaining ground on Cincinnati in the NL Central, trailing by 4 games. Adam Dunn doubles in a pair of runs in a 4-run 3rd to open a 5-3 lead.

After St. Louis ties it, Dunn comes up big with a 3-run HR in the 5th, and then the Nationals add 6 runs in the 8th to break the game open.
