Jay Bruce rescues a 7-5 win over the Diamondbacks for the Reds.

Bruce makes a fantastic catch against the wall to save an extra-base hit and possible game-tying 2-run HR to prevent Francisco Cordero from blowing a 3rd save in less than a week as Cincinnati opens an 8-game lead over St. Louis in the NL Central.

The Reds had built a 5-0 lead in the 1st 2 innings before Arizona cuts the lead to 5-4. Cincinnati gets a pair of runs in the 8th before Cordero gives up a pair of hits to start the 9th, allowing Arizona to cut the lead to 7-5 with a runner on 2nd base, but with 2 outs Bruce snags Adam LaRoche's shot to right before it can clear the fence.
