Strasburg goes 6 scoreless innings, while allowing 1 hit and striking out 10 in Florida's final game at Joe Robbie Stadium before moving into the Marlins' new stadium in 2012. Florida had spent the franchise's first 19 seasons at the retro-fitted football stadium, winning a pair of championships.

Ian Desmond's 2-run single off Chris Volstad in the 5th stakes Strasburg to a lead. The Marlins manage to get on the board in the 7th with Gaby Sanchez's RBI double. However, Florida is unable to complete a rally, closing the run at Joe Robbie Stadium when Drew Storen gets Logan Morrison looking at a 3rd strike.
