Rangers answers the A's late to win 4-3 and win the AL West.

Jorge Cantu's solo HR in the 8th wins it for Texas after Oakland rallies in the 7th, giving the Rangers their 1ast post-season berth since 1999.

Texas held a 3-1 lead until Cliff Pennington's 2-run HR in the 7th. The Rangers had gradually built the lead with a solo HR by Michael Young, an RBI single by Jorge Cantu, and then Elvis Andrus adds a run in the 7th scoring on a wild pitch as he was stealing 3rd.
