Matt Harrison becomes the 4th starter to silence Seattle, allowing 5 hits and 1 run over 7 2/3 innings after keeping the Mariners hitless through 1 out in the 5th.

Texas gets all the offense it would need early as Mitch Moreland drives one 429 feet into the rightfield stands for a 3-run HR in the 2nd off former Rangers' 1st round pick Blake Beavan. Harrison allows his lone run in the 8th.
