Jay Bruce doubles home the go-ahead run in the 8th as Cincinnati cuts St. Louis' lead in the NL Central to 1/2 game. Houston had tied it 4-4 on Hunter Pence's 2-run HR in the 6th.

However, Bruce answers again for the Reds. His 4th-inning Sac Fly ties it 1-1. Ryan Hanigan adds a 2-run single in the 4th for a lead.
