Ian Kinsler and Nelson Cruz become the 1st teammates to homer in each of the 1st 3 games of the season as Texas completes the season-opening sweep of Boston. The blasts are part of a 4-homer day by the Rangers. David Murphy staked Texas to a lead with a solo shot in the 2nd, then Kinsler and Mike Napoli add solo shots in the 3rd and 5th, respectively.

After Carl Crawford's RBI-single in the 7th gets the Sox on the board, Cruz responds with a 447-foot blast into the rightfield upper deck stands. Matt Harrison makes the power surge stand up, going 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, while striking out 8.
