Rookie Danny Valencia singles home Michael Cuddyer for the winning run with 1-out in the 10th to negate a strong effort by Detroit's Max Scherzer, who allows just 4 hits and 1 run in 9 innings.

But the Twins are able to succeed against the Tigers' bullpen as Cuddyer singles against Ryan Perry and then steals second base before scoring on Valencia's single.
