Twins outlast the Tigers 6-5 in 12 innings to capture the AL Central tie-breaker.

Carlos Gomez scrambles home from 2nd base on Alexei Casilla's single to right in the bottom of the 12th to win it in Minnesota's final regular season game at the Metrodome.

Casilla's game-winning hit caps a wild finish that featured rallies and missed opportunities. After Detroit takes an early 3-0 lead, the Twins chip away until Orlando Cabrera's 2-run HR in the 7th gives them a 4-3 lead only to see it disappear when Maglio Ordonez deposits the 1st pitch in the 8th into the seats.

Brandon Inge's 10th inning RBI double gives Detroit a lead, but Michael Cuddyer triples for Minnesota in the bottom of the 10th and then scores on Matt Tolbert's single.
