Blackburn goes 8 2/3 innings, allowing just 2 hits after struggling since early in the season. Brian Fuentes enters to get the last out to complete the 2-hitter.

Minnesota doesn't produce much against Doug Fister and a pair of Seattle relievers. But the Twins get enough when Danny Valenica scores on Denard Span's single in the 3rd for the game's only run.
