Twins manage a split with a strange 8-6 win over the Rays.

Minnesota wins the 2nd straight to split a 4-game series with Tampa Bay, but does so in unconventional and controversial fashion as Jason Kubel singles off the catwalk of the Suncoast Dome's roof to score the go-ahead run in the top of the 9th.

Kevin Slowey had cruised along through 7 innings for the Twins, before running out of gas in the 8th with a a 6-0 lead. The Rays rally and tie it on Jason Barlett's pinch-hit Grand Slam. Minnesota had score 4 runs in the 1st off Wade Davis en route to the 6-0 lead.
