Game Notes

Rangers sweep the Yankees with a 4-1 win.

Cliff Lee makes a stellar return after skipping his previous start, pitching into the 9th and combining with Neftali Feliz on a 2-hitter as Texas becomes the 1st team to sweep New York in 2010. Lee departs after walking Derek Jeter to lead off the 9th, but Feliz strikes out the side to close out the Yankees.

Jeter's double in the 6th gets New York in front. But Elvis Andrus scores the equalizer on David Murphy's fielder's choice in the bottom of the inning, and then the Rangers strike for 3 runs in the 7th as Ian Kinsler scores on Julio Borbon's bunt single. Borbon scores on a single by Andrus and Michael Young follows with an RBI-single.
