Phillies get the final answer in a 4-3 win over the Braves.

Kim Batiste singles home John Kruk in the bottom of the 10th to cap a see-saw battle that sees Philadelphia and Atlanta always within a run of each other. It was Batiste's throwing error in the top of the 9th that allowed the Braves to tie it 3-3.

After Bill Pecota leads off the 9th with a walk as Mitch Williams displays his lack of control, Batiste's wild throw to 2nd after a ground ball by Mark Lemke, puts Pecota on 3rd here he scores a ground out.

Curt Schilling and Steve Avery had dueled for much of the game. Schilling strikes out the 1st 5 batters of the game, nursing a 1-0 lead. Atlanta ties it on an RBI double by Otis Nixon, and takes the lead on a Sac Fly by David Justice in the 4th. Pete Incaviglia answers with a HR in the bottom of the 4th. A wild pitch in the 6th allows Philadelphia to take a 3-2 lead.
