Big innings lift the Braves to a 9-4 win over the Phillies.

Atlanta scores 5 runs in the 6th and 4 more in the 7th to take a 2-1 lead in the series. After being shutdown by Terry Mulholland for 5 innings, the Braves broke loose against the Philadelphia starter in the 6th. Fred McGriff and Terry Pendleton deliver RBI singles to tie it 2-2, and then David Justice chases Mulholland with a 2-run double.

Pendlton adds an RBI single in the 6th and Mark Lemke's 3-run double gives Atlanta a 9-2 lead, breaking the game open. Tom Glavine goes 7 innings, allowing 6 hits and 2 runs.
