Kevin Brown dominates the Braves again in Padres' 3-0 win.

Atlanta's nemesis in the 1997 post-season helps San Diego take a 2-0 lead back home. Brown goes the distance allowing just 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 11.

Brown also adds the Braves' pain on offense, following a 2-out single by Chris Gomez with single of his own to extend the rally long enough for Quilvio Veras to single up the middle off Tom Glavine scoring Gomez to break a scoreless tie in the 6th.

Brown leads off the 9th with a single, followed by a single by Veras and advancing on an errant throw on a pickoff attempt. Steve Finley's infield single scores Brown for a 2-0 edge. Wally Joyner adds an RBI single for a 3-0 lead.
