After retiring the 1st 2 batters, Lancaster walks 2 straight before R.J. Reynolds delivers an RBI-single to break the tie. Mike LaValliere follows with a 2-run double and then Rafael Belliard scores LaValliere on a triple. The outburst gives starter Doug Drabek the cushion to go the distance, while striking out a career-high 11 batters. His battery mate, LaValliere goes 4-of-4.
