Braves celebrate NL East title with a 3-2 win over the Expos in 11 innings.

Atlanta breaks through against Shayne Bennett in the 11th and wins it when Tony Bautista scores on a wild pitch by Montreal's Steve Kline. The Braves had left 18 runners on base while pursue a division clincher that was taken care of when the Mets beat Florida while game was in progress.

Fred McGriff gave Atlanta a 1-0 lead with an RBI single off Marc Valdes in the 1st but the Braves began a trend that would continue, leaving the bases loaded. After Atlanta pushed the lead to 2-0, the Expos tie it on Brad Fullmer's 2-run HR off Greg Maddux in the top of the 4th.
