Jamie Moyer struggles in the 1st 2 innings before settling down and going 6 1/3 innings, allowing just 2 earned runs, and a pair of unearned runs

The Cubs break out against John Smiley, erasing a 1-0 deficit with a 3-run 3rd inning and then stretch the lead to 6-2 when Ryne Sandberg leads off the 5th with a HR, and then Andre Dawson goes deep with Mark Grace on base. Sandberg, Grace and Dawson combine for 6 hits and Darrin Jackson has 3.
