Rangers erupt for a 14-3 win over the Twins.

After a slow start against Hector Santiago, Texas' bats wake up against Minnesota's bullpen. The Rangers strike for 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th after tying the game 2-2. Joey Gallo scores the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, and following a 2-run single by Elvis Andrus, another run scores on a passed ball.

Texas then erupts for 8 runs in the bottom of the 8th, highlighted by Ryan Rua's Grand Slam and Shin-Soo Choo's 3-run HR. Cole Hamels goes 6 2/3 innings, allowing 7 hits and 3 runs.
