Pirates complete their rally, beat the Orioles 4-1 to capture the championship.

Willie Stargell delivers a 2-run blast off Scott McGregor to put Pittsburgh ahead 2-1 in the 7th. Pittsburgh adds 2 more runs in the 9th when Omar Moreno singles home Phil Garner, and Tippy Martinez and Dennis Martinez hit Dave Parker and Bill Robinson, respectively to load the bases and then force in a run.

Baltimore had led the series 3-1 before the Pirates storm back to win the series. The Orioles' attack is silenced by Jim Bibby and 3 relievers, collecting just 4 hits, with the lone run coming on Rich Dauer's solo HR in the 3rd.
